Visit Women in the Royal Palace Museum

Women and we “teachers” are eager to go to the Royal palace museum to see the ancient things of the Palace, decorations, arts, architecture and sculpture of the Royal Palace of the Kingdom.

For the entry in the Royal palace we need to take ticket. We explain hem we are from an organization and we run literacy class so they saw our card and they give us discount. In their notice board, they had put ticket price as follows

 Royal Palace

Nepali=Rs 100/-

Student=Rs 20/-

Friendly and Neighborhood countries= Rs 250/-

Foreigner= Rs 500/-

Child above 3 years onwards needed ticket

Public holiday it will be closed.

 

Photo taking is extrictly prohibited because many years ago people from different countries took picture and sold, or made things.

This Palace has been established in 2026 B.S. After the death of the king and Queen the government people make the royal palace as a museum. There are 52 rooms all over the Palace but only 19 rooms are open to see the things. King and queen used to live there so while in presence of them different leader or great people used to visited Royal palace so We saw the various rooms like store room, rest room, guest room etc. All women liked the decoration of the palace arts and sculpture, throne of the King, Crown of the king. Each room had given name of the district and Zones.

We saw ancient old precious things which are so valuable and nicely made. We saw many pictures of the king and queen who ruled over the Nepal while this Narayanhiti Royal Palace. We saw many medals of the king and queen honored by famous people for the development of the country and other sector and also various gifts given by the visitors or guest while visiting Nepal staying in the Royal Palace at that time. The women are so happy to saw it. We explain them things. We saw the original and precious materials while used in the palace. We took pictures with women outside of the palace.
